The exterior of insulated and jacketed rail tanker cars need protection against corrosion from moisture that may develop underneath the insulation. The corrosion protection coating must also be able to handle substrate surface temperatures up to 300ºF without getting soft and runny. ErgonArmor offers exactly that sort of protection at cost-effective price points.

Our product range includes:

• Ertech 2232, a water-based asphaltic emulsion designed to be a coating for metal corrosion protection. It is non-flammable, low VOC and worker friendly. The low viscosity of Ertech 2232 yields up to a 20 mil wet film build. The cured film is hard and resists moderate abrasion.
